Trixie Pet Care (AKA Denise) is the best pet care provider we’ve ever had. We have had pets for many years and have cherished every one of our furry family members. We’re also very particular about their care and safety. None of the pet sitters in the past has even come close to the high quality of care and love that Denise provides. This is the first time we have felt 100% comfortable leaving our pets in someone’s care. And equally important, our two dogs and two cats love Denise, and that is something coming from our very shy rescue kitty. When caring for our pets, whether for a day or multiple days, Denise will regularly text us with pet updates and periodically includes an adorable photo of them. Our one cat needed medication, including a daily injection and all was accomplished without any problem. Litter boxes were cleaned, fresh water provided, dogs walked and spoiled and even food bowls were washed. WOW! Denise is our number one “go to” pet care provider, actually the only one we’ll trust to care for our beloved pets. Our pets totally agree! They love her and give Trixie Pet Care ‘all paws up!’

I’m so glad we found Denise with Trixie Pet Care! My cat, Doodle, is particular about who he likes visiting him when I’m out of town. In the past, he would frequently hide from pet sitters and never get the interaction he needed. Denise has a magic touch, and he quickly warmed to her. She brushes him, gives him treats, and of course takes care of all of his needs She even sends me sweet photos of him while I’m gone. Sometimes when I get home, I get the feeling Doodle would prefer if I extended my vacation so he can spend more time with Denise! I will also add that Denise is reliable and does many other house sitter tasks, like plant watering and filling bird feeders, so I know that my house is being looked after too.

I have two cats who can only eat wet food due to health issues, which effectively kills the idea of leaving the big bowl of kibble and water and taking off for the weekend. Asking friends to come twice a day is a burden, and I’ve had other pet sitters in the past that I’d need to check in with to hope they showed up that day. Fortunately, I found Denise at Trixie Pet Care and spend a few stress-free days out of town and came back to happy cats! The first thing I was surprised by was Denise’s instant rapport with the cats. They can be standoffish like most cats, but when she entered my home, they ran up to her! She was completely comfortable with my giant Maine coon children and they were not afraid of her at all. While we were out, I deeply appreciated the texts every time she was there, photos of what they were doing, and updates on their state of mind (spoilers: they were either playing or sleeping). The way they were acting in the photos let me know they were not stressed and hiding, but rather out and about, eating and living their best cat lives while I was on vacation. Words cannot express how valuable Denise’s services were and we will only use her as our pet sitter from now on!
